I know its not...

Re: 1993 SC1 is dead, no power at all. Need Help

I do not have one, nor am I proficient with using one.

For what it's worth, I did have the charging system checked at AutoZone a few weeks ago and he said "Your charging system checked out O.K and...

Re: 1993 SC1 is dead, no power at all. Need Help

Connections are clean and very tight, the positive does have a small amount of corrosion but nothing extensive... I find it odd that the airbag light triggered today too just before this all happens....

1993 SC1 is dead, no power at all. Need Help

I'll break it down really simple:

Headlights started flickering a few weeks ago and car started really poor.

Had battery tested and it tested VERY bad, but it still started the car so I put it...

Re: piece of garbage kid!!!!

I would say your best bet is either getting lucky on Ebay and finding a used one or going to the junk yard and finding one there.

Re: SC1 Howling/Whistling Noise

Thanks, yeah it is a very low pitch whistling noise... It's not coming through the speakers at all like most alternator whine does but I will look into that for sure. I'm pretty sure AutoZone can...

Re: SC1 Howling/Whistling Noise

Re: SC1 Howling/Whistling Noise

It does not sound very mechanical.. It literally sounds like air escaping from somewhere but a lot of it.

Will removing the belt and running the motor harm anything? And I can't really do that...

Re: Need help replacing Ignition Cylinder Housing.

That may work - I would hate to destroy the head though and then have it be stuck in there even worse, ya know?

Anyone else done this before on this year?

Re: Key stuck in ignition, Need help!

I also see that when removing the old seized lock cylinder there are parts that can be damaged in the removal process apparently?

Maybe this is the reason why my new cylinder will not fully enter...
