Re: Brake service

FYI - I have 26,000 miles and brake pads still look great. I had to have my front rotors replaced due to excessive warpage - I guess they were too warped to resurface...? My local Saturn dealer did...

Re: How many of you put Bug Shields on the front of your Outlook?

Well I wouldn't stick one on an Astra or Aura either folks... Looks right at home on an SUV to me though (or CUV if your prefer). I'll wait to hear back from the OP (Big O) on how well it...

Re: 3.6 engine gets a new cylinder head

Just an update. Put 1,500 miles on it since the new head got installed. Our Aura is still doing fine. Feels the same as it did before the issue. The gas mileage has been pretty bad for the last two...

Re: Trans Software Question

FYI - I had the latest software update done in my 08 AWD XE in April 2009 - the latest update available. I can tell you that it feels much better. Not 100% the way that I would like it, but good...

Re: How many of you put Bug Shields on the front of your Outlook?

I think it looks great! It really stands out on the red. Probably will look more subdued with my moonlight blue. Might have to pick one up.

Re: How many of you put Bug Shields on the front of your Outlook?

Responded to your post over on saturnoutlookforum.net. I wanted to know if you could post pics of your Outlook with the bug shield installed.

I don't have one, but am thinking about getting one.

Re: 3.6 engine gets a new cylinder head - Update

I spoke with the service writer and mechanic that did the work. The car had a cracked cylinder head. The head is being shipped to Saturn for investigation. They believe it was a defect as this car...

3.6 engine gets a new cylinder head

Hi all, I wanted to post what's been going on with our Aura to see if anyone else here ran into anything similar. Car is a 2007 XR with the 3.6 and about 30,000 miles. The engine started to misfire...

Re: Picking up my new outlook Monday morning

Yeah, I gathered the same thing (I don't have auto climate control). You're right, it did surprise me that the XE won't give you MPG info like our Aura XR does. I just do it the old fashioned way -...

Re: Picking up my new outlook Monday morning

Congrats! I think you got a good deal there too. I bought an XE AWD in 08 and only really got $1,500 off of MSRP for being a repeat customer (we got an Aura the year before). Also didn't want...

Re: Autobytel: 93% of Saturn Lineup Qualifies for Cash-for-Clunkers Voucher

While I can appreciate the simplicity of the "old school Saturns", (and actually I'm in the market for one to be my commuter car) I wouldn't say that the Outlook is any more complicated than any new...

Re: 2008 Saturn Outlook XR - Bad Cams ?!?

So does anyone have any more news about the cam issue? My 2008 XE AWD has 13,000 miles and has been great so far (knocking on wood). Any word on what build dates are effected, or any other way to see...

Re: 09 mileage

I am also interested in how the 09 compares. If anyone ever buys one. :)

I have a 2008 XE AWD. I have 13,000 miles now, and the mileage did get better over time. I don't have a trip computer, but...
