Nice looking newer one with lowish miles. I wonder why it doesn't run? Probably a bad fuel pump. Three hour drive from me....when I finally buy property, I will have a barn full of these...

Ah, this drawing makes sense. This is exactly the area I am describing. The leak is seepage from the bottom of the adjuster plug...the one seen in view A. The plug is tight, I think the next step...

Tried tightening the nut, was very tight wouldn't budge.

I showed one of my students (I'm a humble teacher) who is a car guy.
Said my wires were too thin and my switch was bad.
Going to wire up directly to the battery now and add in a relay and fuse.

I wired up a switch to turn my radiator cooling fan on and off using the fuse box. I have been running like this for a year now. Today, something shorted and I got some nice smoke...scared me...

Thanks. I wonder why it did not throw a code? It may have been barely working as when I looked at it, it was intact, but upon touching it crumbled.
