My mechanic ended up welding a new flange to the cat side and fastened the joint accordingly. I purchased 5/16" ss hardware for the flange joint and 1/2" ss for the additional hardware. New hangers...

It just needed a little persuasion, had to flex some of the heat shield up/away to the drivers side in order to rotate the pipe over the crossmember, with the jacks about 14" up it was pretty...

Well a quick update on the install, managed to grab some 5/16x1.5" bolts with washers and lock washers for the flange connection point, looks as if I'm going to have to have the flange replaced...

So just read through the above mentioned thread and will most likely end up removing the old bolts with grinder then drill them out. The local Napa here provided me a gasket for this joint but I see...

Ok, here's where I stand. I agree totally on replacing the provided bolts with stainless. My problem now resides with the original catalytic side bolts. I was able to seperate the resignator side...

I am curious as to where this brown/white wire runs inside the car.. The remote start/alarm system i've installed needs to see 9-12vdc while running(fluctuating I assume) and the saturns original...

Aftermarket Fogs/OEM switch..
Is it possible to use the oem switch to control aftermarket foglight relay ? I tested continuity between leads with no luck, any ideas ?

Not too sure what your third (threaded) connection point is for, my OEM alt only had one electrical connector and one threaded post that jumps my 2 awg to the starter, than starter to Battery...
