https://www.autopartskart.com/sku/mm49448.html?gclid=CLKIqK66jtUCFUpNfgoddVAFfQ

I can use it to replace my shifter linkage.

I drive a 1996 Saturn SL1.

Does anyone have...

Re: Possible head gasket leaking?

In another thread, which is now going to be all combined into this thread I asked about my coolant system after I did a radiator flush. The coolant looked bad. Speculation on the cause ranged from 2...

Re: fouled number 1 plug?

I assume the aeration line is the black hose connected to the reservoir. It is about as big around as my little finger.

Do you mean oil is coming into the reservoir through that?

How do I...

Re: fouled number 1 plug?

This is all my fault. I should have known the problems were all related and kept this in one thread. My apologies to everyone.

The engine does not smoke while idling. Only at start up.

Re: fouled number 1 plug?

Do I need to close the other threads and consolidate this all into one thread.

Would that be easier.

Possible head gasket leaking?

About how many hours and how much money will a shop charge to replace a faulty head gasket.

I am not sure that it is blown but I would like to prepare financially for the worst. Or I would like to...

fouled number 1 plug?

My 1996 Saturn SL1 likes to foul out plugs every 10,000 miles or so in the number 1 cylinder.
It also seems to degrade or otherwise hurt the wire that goes to the number 1 plug too.

So first the...

Re: radiator flush. gunky stuff in my coolant

So far I have pulled out the reservoir where you put in water and cleaned it up. It has a sort of 2nd chamber in there, so I took it all the way off to be sure I got it clean.
Then I pulled off the...

I flushed out my radiator the other day. I filled it back up with water/coolant. Now there is the gunky stuff in the coolant. It looks like oil but my car is not using any oil and it is not showing...

Re: 1996 Saturn SL1 smokes

So CD2 is OK to use? I read this thread from 2004.

1996 Saturn SL1 smokes

My 1996 Saturn SL1 has always used oil, I think it is a design flaw.

Anyway, my engine got pretty hot the other day and now it seems to be smoking more than usual. It is oil, not water.

What...

It has been really hot in Portland Oregon the last few days and that has greatly aggravated the situation.

Re: SL1 1996 wheels?

I don't think there is any rust build up. I think I just had a lazy tire guy.

BUT
