Re: 02-07 Rear Liftgate Air Deflector - IS IT WORTH IT???

Mine came with a rear deflector. I noticed that it would keep the rear window clean during rain. I never needed to use the rear wiper. I took it off for some dumb reason a few years ago and now I...

Re: crushed oil filter

I buy Fram filters from AutoZone. I will admit that we drove around for 2-3 weeks with the change oil light on due to money reasons. I also had to replace the oil filter cap about a year ago due to a...

crushed oil filter

I have been doing my own oil changes for over a year now. The last two times I have pulled the filter, it comes out of the engine crushed. The best way to describe it would be if you slightly dented...

Re: starter won't come out!!!!

Couldn't get the damn thing out. After an hour of lying on my back in the rain, I gave up and called the tow truck. It's at the shop now.

Re: starter won't come out!!!!

I was thinking the same thing last night. I have alldata and read up before starting. The thing I don't like about them is that they don't include socket sizes(would make the job go so much faster),...

Re: starter won't come out!!!!

I am not sure how I will be able to get a hammer in there. I have an automatic and awd. The axle runs in front of the starter and I couldn't see a way to get to the bottom of the starter. I could...

Re: time to replace starter

I checked Rockauto this morning and they only have rebuilds at the moment. I have been burned by rebuilds in the past, so I'm a little hesitant to get one.

It is starting to die. Any brand recommendations? Are they all rebuilt, or can I find a new one?

Re: hub bearings

I installed the rear bearings this weekend. Would have gone a lot faster if Alldata included socket sizes in the repair instructions (my biggest complaint about that site). I was rewarded with...

There have been a lot of miles between the time I did it in '09 and now. Add in that my struts and end links have been bad for a while as well. Wouldn't be a bit surprised if my sensor failed the...

Anyone know the socket size? I remember that it is a funky bolt head, and alldata doesn't say.
