Not to sound blunt; please just listen to floridasl22002 & replace the bad O2 sensor. If you lack tools /experience get a mechanic do that for you.

1. You have to check, clean & re-seat or replace all instrument cluster bulbs including big speedo LED & the pair of gallery LED's on top. Replacements are available at superbrightleds dot com.

Ok post detail observation is the crankshaft seal leaking slightly. The oil plan & valve cover are clean after consistent tightening. I will also leave the timing chain alone & just get my mech...

I don't suspect exhaust or suspension because its linked to turning ignition on /off. So I am leaning towards a sticky motor /actuator like ABS sensor, fuel pump float etc releasing with a thump.

Thump noise from the back

Sometimes when I turn the ignition on or off I get a delayed thump from somewhere in the back. Could it be the fuel pump float mechanism, control arm bushing, engine /transmission mounts or brakes?

True, I too must have been cleaning the Air Intake Temp Sensor thinking its the MAF sensor. Much like the the Air Bypass Valve on this engine looks like the EGR valve as I always thought it was.

Possibly valve cover gasket, oil pan & crankshaft seal. Will confirm after post-detail check.

Detailed engine & got an express wax job with buffer for $70 total. Car looks new inside out, but let's wait & watch for leaks now.

Mike are you referring to the PCV valve? This engine doesn't...
