Re: What will be symptoms if condenser is bad?

If you could read the FSM documents I've linked you to in the past that'd be great. In case you've lost the link: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B5D8XfJgavxrUXZfdWhtWWtMbHM&usp=sharing

Re: TONS of Work

You can't get away with changing steering components and not having an alignment anymore. Control arm lengths change, TRE length's change (eliminating counting turns/threads).

Check the...

Re: When was the first Saturn SC sold? 1990, 1991, or 1992?

Technically in 1990 as a 1991 model year.

Re: Why did my serpentine belt come off?

Bailing twine from the crank pulley to the water pump and alternator. Either run it to all 3 pulleys in 1 go, or leave a groove in the middle empty so they don't rub on each other and near instantly...

Re: New to me 1999 Sedan SL 04/19/2015

One time I had the switch go from "a bit flaky" to 100% failed between inspection stations (1st place was staffed with morons I wouldn't trust with a potato gun)...fun part was I had to go past my...

Re: Looking for list of reasons the service wrench light illuminates

If he could get the code read, he wouldn't need the list of reason's it comes on. The Service (Wrench) light is not emission related so the sub-$500 readers can't read them. Most common reason it...

Re: Engine swap into a 95 SC2

TAAT = Automatic transmission with never ending issue's.

The lack of 2 ECTS holes is so easy to fix. If the head's coming off, drill & tap the hole in the factory '91-'95 location; if it's not...

Re: Turn Signals Blow Fuse - 98 SW2

Huh? :dizzy:
STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS Part # CBS1039 $117.79 plus s/h
Found under "Turn Signal Switch" and "Wiper Switch" for all '95-'01 SW's.

Sounds like that ACDelco for a bit over $118 with...

Re: Engine swap into a 95 SC2

Throttle body may change, not a problem if your swapping the whole engine.
Knock sensor and oil pressure sender connector's may change so keep the '95's sensors.

Swap the flywheel onto the engine...

Re: Odometer going nuts HELP

Think there's another plastic gear in there that can break. It's rare enough no one pre-makes a replacement. May have to get another cluster, test it to see if it works, and swap the gear(s) from...

Re: GM10-Aux - make use of the AX button on that early generation radio!

This is what you'd need for the harness if you don't already have it with a factory tape player or cd player with eq (assuming '95-'99 as the harness won't work with '00-'02 and I dunno about...

Re: 96 SL2 service light comes on after 2 min

Wrench codes are unreadable without a Tech II level reader and I'd be VERY surprised if a parts store would let anyone walk out with one without at least a $100 deposit (assuming they have one in the...

Re: Turn Signals Blow Fuse - 98 SW2

When I was looking for an exhaust downpipe the guys at AutoZone said no one would have it because it's so rare...walked out of a smallish Napa with it 15 minutes later. Paid almost $20 more than...

Re: alloy wheel center caps on steelies?

Flat style fits fine, dished style fits but there's a gap around the perimeter.

Might get a ricer-ticket (http://www.ricecop.com/images/riceticket2.jpg) for impersonating a cop, though people in...

Re: Weatherstrip has come off door frame, what do I have to do to repair it?

I'd use water proof silicone rather than glue.

Re: Motor mounts

If no vibrations and long lasting is what you want, go OEM. Bit pricy at $50-$70/mount but they'll last another 10-15 years.

Otherwise go with something from the local parts store with a lifetime...

Re: How likely is it...?

They don't always need weights on the face lip of the wheel, sometimes they're on the inside and sometimes they use little square weights on the inside of the rim.

Re: Led

The "DRL" is just the high beam bulb run at 6v instead of 12v. IIRC it does that by switching the ground on/off at the right pace to simulate 6v, which doesn't play well with LED's. Stupid pointless...

Re: S- Series Engine Swap

You'll have to block off the air pump ports on the '01 exhaust (you have to keep from the manifold to the cat-con with the motor) when you put it in the '97. Might have to swap over the sensors near...
