Re: Urgent! Fuel issue!

Do we know of results from ECM voltage and continuity checks?

I read of U2105 in first post but not sure its been back.

Databus is not going to work if ECM isn't powered.

Re: Urgent! Fuel issue!

I hesitate to go that far this fast unless you can locate an inexpensive and serviceable ECM.. I don't have any practical experience with 3.0 but if we're in my driveway I would continuity test all...

Re: Urgent! Fuel issue!

See post 14.

FYI fuel pump only runs for a couple of seconds each time key is turned to ON and when engine is being started and when engine running.

Best way to send 12 volts to pump for...

Re: Urgent! Fuel issue!

You could have bad connection in C-406 which is near tank.

See diagram and probe grey wire before PIN A of connector and after to see if voltage difference.

If there is and you can't separate...

Re: Sound like a BCM problem to you

BCM could cause that - disconnect battery ground post clamp for a few minutes, then reconnect and see if lights are still acting strange.

Re: 05 limp mode?

Chasing wiring issues is fun (and typically easy) if you have warm place to work*, good diagrams and good test equipment (meter, code reader, test light).

* I note you live in deep freeze zone.

Re: Sound like a BCM problem to you

You may have bad battery or loose connection but the basic complaint of repeated engine starting and dying is classic for BCM sending incorrect fuel password to PCM.

This is worrisome because once...

Re: 2.2l starter and cables replaced, still have issue... flywheel?

I consider the solenoid a large relay with two functions.

The start segment of ignition switch sends battery power to the clutch interlock switch - which when closed - sends power to solenoid.

Re: P0300 Misfire and Exhaust Manifold Question

The plugs choice and gapping appear to be incorrect for 3.5 engine.

I'd use the new feeler gauges to check plug gap just for FIY and then throw those plugs away and install plugs listed in...

Re: 2.2l starter and cables replaced, still have issue... flywheel?

I wouldn't try another starter until:

(1) I was certain battery positive and negative cables are in perfect condition and cleanly connected - including both engine and battery ends.

(2) I was...

You mentioned plugs and coil packs look new - have you removed one or more plug to check condition?

If cylinder four is consistent misfire trouble code I think I'd swap plug and coil pack with...

I have 05 Vue AWD (90,000 miles) and have had no RDM (rear drive module)
