Re: Dash lights dimmed
Daytime Running Lights
A light sensor on top of the instrument panel makes the DRL work, so be sure it is not covered. The DRL system’s automatic headlamp control will make the low-beam headlamps...

Re: What is your RPM at 70mph?
Yes. You can slip it into L while doing 70 MPH. But, you can also start out in L and press + until 6 displays on your DIC.
When you shift from DRIVE (D) to LOW (L), the transmission will shift...

Re: Safety Flaw in Outlook XE
I found it annoying as well - but just until I got used to it. I certainly don't see it as a "safety flaw", just a feature. If this "safety flaw" bothers you enough to no longer want your Outlook...

Re: new guy with questions
I certainly didn't mean to sound "overly critical", I was (and still am) curious as to why you would think turning off the traction control would have the same affect as the tow/haul mode.
Your...

Re: 2008 Trailer Wiring BCM replacement?
I haven't heard of anyone needing to replace a BCM, but have come across info on upgrading a UBEC. I think the fuse box needs to be switched out for the V92 box.
Supplemental Information on...

Re: 2007 Outlook problems!
Do you have AWD? If you do, it could be loose driveshaft (propeller) bolts - this will cause a vibration in the driveline, usually feel it around 45-60 MPH

Re: new guy with questions
How would turning the Traction Control off be anywhere similar to engaging the Tow/Haul mode? If this were the case, why even have the extra button? - just turn off traction control when towing -...

Re: The Traverse is here...
In regards to pricing, the Traverse (LT) may be $6000 cheaper than the Outlook, but it will most definitely have that $6000 difference taken out of the standard equipment that comes with the Outlook....

Re: new guy with questions
So, why the 2500 lbs difference in towing capacity from factory installed towing package rated at 4500 lbs, versus an aftermarket system at 2000 lbs?

Re: Opinions wanted: Considering a Saturn Outlook
I would have to agree. In my four weeks of ownership, I've averaged 14.7 mpg with 69% in town. The 31% highway driving I am mostly loaded with adults and/or equipment at approx. 600 - 900 lbs. And...

Re: Traction Control Button
That is great to hear. Though, I don't believe the rest of GM operates in the same manner - or many other manufacturers.

Re: Traction Control Button
Don't worry about pushing your luck, if it's broken and it's under warranty it will be fixed.
Well, unfortunately, purchasing a GM vehicle from the US to import into Canada usually voids the...

Ours came in Friday and we picked it up Monday. Your vehicle should be spotless when you pick it up. Mine had a fresh coat of wax applied. :)

Re: Power Steering noise
Does anyone have evidence to show that adding more fluid isn't the proper fix, and just a "band-aid" solution?
I understand the frustration that comes from having to deal with issues with a new...

Re: Power Steering noise
I have heard adding more fluid corrects the problem.
Why is it not possible that the full line is just marked too low?
