I looked under the package tray and all i found was 1 ring terminal ground. Should it have a slice pack?

The first pump was a cheapie, then used a bosch that sat for 6 months, then i'm changing it out soon with another cheapie. Is the ground around the speaker area?

!@#$ i just changed it out with a brand new pump,drove it that day, and let it sit for a bout a month, month and a half and now the fuel pump doesn't make any noise! I changed it about a year ago...

I've checked wiring, it's getting power. Pump is a brand new Bosch, changed out about 7 months ago. Only about 3 hours run time.I keep it at work,

fuel pump sticks when car sits for months....

This happens every time I let it sit for months. Last time I hit the tank with a hammer and it loosened right up. The pump is about 1 year old and a few hours old. What else can I do? '96 sc2

Ihaven't put a wrench to it, but I'm thinking that it might break off in the manifold. The part that connects to the hose just broke off with finger pressure.

'96 sc2. I need the heater hose fitting that goes on the intake manifold on the driver side, Anyone have a listing for it on Ebay or Amazon, maybe auto parts store? thanks.

so now I loosened the single wire ground screw, moved it around quite a bit then tightened it down again. I turned the key to the on position and although there was some background noise, i did hear...

not to hit it a few seconds, just like tap the wires for a quarter second or less, just to see if it even makes a buzz.

I haven't had time to do the video procedure yet, but i thought, can I also apply,VERY QUICKLY, 24 volts, to see if it'll unstick the pump?

No wonder i couldnt find the ground in the rear light area! After seeing the video, it said it's in front of the speaker area. Ill try that tomorrow, thanks for the video!!

Well, i jumped it and there was a super quick buzz. I might of read that there is a common ground in the rear where the fuel pump grounds to. Anyone know where? Also, can the pump just be stuck?...

Selling '96 sc2 Red in Cal.

I'm selling my '96 sc2 . It has minor easily fixable things. It's automatic. It has 17" rims. Around 230,xxx miles or so. I don't want to junk it. It does run and start very easily, with no problems....
