I tried fitting a 175/70/14 tire with about 2/32 tread left in the wheel well, but it really didn't fit. I've replaced the compact spare tire once, and I'll go with the Tire Rack option that Waiex...

Replaced brake pads, drums, rotors and had a brake fluid flush. Also replaced the front Monroe Quick Struts with Moog quick struts. The Monroe's were replaced under warranty about a year/20k miles...

Had the garage replace front brakes & rotors, axle seals. Used gray permatex on the oil pan, per advice on SaturnFans. They said there was a lot of crud when they opened up the oil pan. Probably...

Had the garage replace my belt tensioner, idler pulley, and belt. This repair eliminated the unpleasant whirring sound from under the hood.

The oil cap should say 5w30. Try Amsoil Signature Series 5w30 using the longer oil filter Wix 51516 XP. This holds a bit extra oil and has more filtering capacity. Rock Auto has good pricing on...

I can vouch for the 94' model year, with the SOHC engine and manual transaxle for the great gas mileage. Just don't be in a hurry to accelerate or mountain climb with the SOHC engine. I'm over 427k...

The belt tensioner is the ACDELCO 38112. So it looks like I need to order the belt tensioner, along with the idler pulley and a belt.

Had my local garage install new GM/AC Delco engine and trans. mounts and dogbones. One dog bone was obliterated, and you can see the pen test on the top engine mount. What an AMAZING difference. ...
