bypass the clutch switch

Is there a way to bypass the need to press in the clutch pedal to start the engine?

If so, how, and are there any side effects?

Thank you

Re: radiator fan not working

The fuse is good, but I'll have to try checking the other stuff in the video another day.

It rose to 3/4 before traffic finally got moving.

radiator fan not working

Weird, I searched fan in S-series and got nothing.

Today I noticed my temp rising both with the AC on and off. The fan never cuts on.

Do I visit the junkyard and grab a fan? If so, do you...

Dying gauges

For the past couple of days the DRL light has flickered a little bit, but today it got worse then the tach died (went to zero). Then a few miles later (while cruising at 70mph) the speedometer and...

I did a boo boo

Was changing the fuel filter the other day and didn't do it right. It was a tight fit and I guess I got impatient, but I've done if before a time or two correctly, but I kinked one of the two rear...

Re: I didn't stall!!!

It might be obvious, but if you're having problems rolling back on hills just use the handbrake to get you through tough times.

Re: jack and stand points?

I think I finally got the jack under the pinch weld last time and it lifted well. But then the base of the stand wouldn't fit beside the jack to rest it under the circular (cradle) part. I then...

jack and stand points?

I used to use the subframe for jacking. Then after a while I noticed some dents. Still I thought no big deal until I changed the LCAs. It could have really complicated the job.

Well, now I've...

Re: inspecting the front end

The upper engine mount was replaced and now it doesn't make the noise. So that was it, but it still shakes when turning the engine off so maybe there are other mounts in need of repair.

Re: a few questions....Timing chain and FSM

Can anyone give me more information about the fuel vapor canister? I think it runs off a line from the purge solenoid. Maybe a picture or a description of its location would be helpful.

Thanks

Doesn't sound good. I just ordered the same one for my 98.

It doesn't help us, but there are a few others with a similar description all coming from Santa Fe for a few bucks less. ...

Re: Spare Tire & Emergency Inflation

Be careful how much air you keep in your spare. My gauge only goes up to 50psi so I took it to that then bumped it a few more time to hopefully get to 60psi. A few weeks later, my perfect looking,...

I need help with some firepower. Guy says if you burn a quart every 1-2k only filter changes and top-ups are necessary. I say contaminants will stay behind and eventually you'll get sludge.

I...
