Re: Strut bolt won't come off. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately...

I do have a new...

Re: Strut bolt won't come off. Any suggestions?

Re: Strut bolt won't come off. Any suggestions?

Well where do I start. To address everyone on what I have already tried. The original setup I had was a 3' breaker pipe and a 3/4" drive 18mm craftsman rachet socket/wrench on the bolt, and a 21mm...

Thanks everyone for your replies and good to see OldNuc and fdryer still offering alternative solutions to each other :D

Strut bolt won't come off. Any suggestions?

All of the struts on my SL1 are shot, bought 4 new struts, decided to start with the fronts and got the driver side done in no time. Went to the passenger side and the two lower bolts that connects...

Re: Need help with 1st/2nd gear shift flare: assuming electrical problem.

I replaced the positive battery cable I put on last week with the 2nd one I bought. The positive wire I put on last week looked fine and has no corrosion on it when I took it off. I inspected all the...

Re: Need help with 1st/2nd gear shift flare: assuming electrical problem.

Re: Need help with 1st/2nd gear shift flare: assuming electrical problem.

I cleaned up the terminal and connector with the sponge, it didn't do much to help with buffing out the scratches. I was thinking about taking some high grit sandpaper and try smoothing the surfaces...

Re: Need help with 1st/2nd gear shift flare: assuming electrical problem.

Drove the 01 to St. Louis and while I was out there it got worse. Torque converter and 1st/2nd gear flares started to go up to 200-300 rpms, idle got higher (around 1,000-1,200 rpms) and when braking...

Re: Need help with 1st/2nd gear shift flare: assuming electrical problem.

Pretty terrible lighting but this is what my cable looked like, mostly white battery acid on it and some brown goop on the connector. There was some white paper covering the cable which I removed and...
