Struts you can get off rock auto. Springs will be a junkyard or ebay trip.

Re: Gauge cluster help

Once the cluster pulls out the bulbs are easy to get to. Getting new bulbs is not so easy LOL. I would just take a trip to the local boneyard and stock up on bulbs. You will find good and bad ones...

Re: 03 Saturn L300 broken timing belt?

Unfortunately it could be an uphill battle for you. If the belt did break I'm sure they will offer a full warranty replacement on it. The problem for you is that generally when a warrantied part...

Re: 03 Saturn L300 broken timing belt?

You're right it's not relevant LOL. The op had issues months after work was successfully done. Hopefully his shop will step up.

Re: 03 Saturn L300 broken timing belt?

There are many reasons a timing belt would break. Unfortunately for you that doesn't matter sq you're on the hook for it no matter what. Unless you can prove the mechanic did something wrong and it's...

Re: Blend door actuator

Actually the reason explorers were rolling over and blowing out tires is because Ford was underinflating them from the factory. Everything else I totally agree with LOL.

Re: Stuck in reverse

Need more info for sure. Is the shift lever able to move out of reverse? The shifter cable connects to the top of the transmission just to the right of the motor. If the shift lever moves, but...

Re: 2002 L200 Sedan Diverter Valve Melted, Exhaust Issue?

You could have an oil pan leak, but oil from there would not get into the exhaust.

Re: 2003 L300 Replacing Rear Suspension Bushes

Yeah those trailing arm bushings are a real pain. I was able to do mine with the arms still on the car, but it wasn't easy. I had to make my own puller, used heat and my saw. Also a great puller can...

Re: 05 L300 v6 timing belt suggested parts.

If you are doing the plugs I would recommend doing the thermostat as well. It will take a little longer, but most of what you take off to do the plugs you will have to take off to do the thermostat.

Re: Is it the alternater or can it be something else ?

What motor? On the 3.0 there is a small wire (in addition to the large wire) that must be connected in order for the alternator to charge. Since the alternator is on the backside of the motor it's...

Re: 05 L300 v6 timing belt suggested parts.

Make sure you replace the water pump or you'll be doing the job twice. I replaced all pulleys and go the bracket. I did not replace cam seals.

Re: Replaced Struts, used front Quick Struts...need further info

Shipping is always an extra charge from rock auto. Also a front end clunk could be a ball joint or sway bar links and bushings. These l cars seem to go thru a lot of those LOL.

Re: Factory paint

They had black, gray and brown . They were available in cloth or leather. I'm also thinking there may have been blue and red cloth, but I'm not 100% on that.

Re: Stirring up the pot on when to check the oil level in an ECOTEC 2.2L engine

I believe this falls into the "too much time on your hands" category LOL. I'm sure there is a reason for checking the oil while it's warm. I always check it on cold engines and have had no issues so...
