Re: 2004 Saturn Vue 2.2L Variant Tranny

1st off, GM is not 'just begun' putting these in vehicles; they tried it YEARS ago when hardly anyone else was, invested a lot of money in it, and it didn't work out. sometimes that happens.

Re: Vue Creaks While Turning

the most prone cause of noise on a 1st gen VUE is the sway bar links. there are better ones you can get that have greasable joints, try to find those. if you don't change them yourself, a shop can do...

Re: 2005 Vue - Water leaking into manual trans

forget it Tom, he's got all the answers, he's already decided its water getting on the clutch, he doesn't need us telling him anything different.

Re: 2005 Vue - Water leaking into manual trans

Re: Question on oil monitoring system

spend some time at www.bobistheoilguy.com and you'll see how little you know about oil.
owning a saturn at the moment is not a prerequisite for participating here. but since I did own a few saturns...

Re: 1992 SC Twin Cam Computer Search

agree w/ oldnuc.
don't fall for the "I checked everything else, it must be the d*mn computer". the PCM in the saturn S series never fails. any problems w/ running can almost always be traced to a...

Re: "It probably doesn't have the compression it use to have"

1st of all, 15 min warm up is a huge waste of gas. all you need is a minute. it'll get up to temp quicker dring that just sitting there.
what does your temp gauge read? have you had your ECTS and...

Re: "It probably doesn't have the compression it use to have"

you cannot discuss mpgs w/o discussing your driving habits and type of commute.
hwy or local?
fast or slow?
short or long?
any idling?
fast starts?
run to redline much?

when a car is...

Re: Question on oil monitoring system

you need to do your research before posting.
the OLM that GM uses is VERY accurate, based on many parameters that affect oil life (driving style, how many starts, temp, etc). time and time again it...

Re: adding rear swaybar to sx1?

you'll have to find a twin cam car and pull it from there, simple bolt on deal.

Re: 2008 VUE 2nd battery failed

Re: Dramatic loss in power/MPG

you need to do the math on how much % bigger your tires are now. the MPH and MPG will both show lower than actual. you effectively raised your final drive ratio which would also cause it to downshift...
