Re: winter performance? 2006 V6 with FWD (not AWD)

I have had my 2005 FWD Vue since Nov of 2004. No problems in winter here in Mid-Michigan. It is tough getting going with anything over 8 inches of snow but anything under that no problem.

Re: Who wants a kick butt stereo?

I was able to do the install with no harness removal. Just pop the cover down by the emergency brake. Take the 4 screws out of the lower storage cup under the heater controls. Then pop off the main...

Mine is a 2005 with the 6 speaker sound system. No factory sub. The harness and bracket fits a 2002-2005. Not sure if it goes any higher than 2005. Good question for a crutchfield rep:yes:

Re: Getting new struts and mounts

I just did fronts and rears with Monroes. Made a huge improvement in ride.
I had just under 50k and both fronts and back were shot. The stock struts and shocks are garbage.

Re: Optima Battery Size for 2004 Vue V-6

Man stay away from Optima batteries!!! Their quality has gone downhill.
I just put in a Interstate Megatron MTP75-DT.
I think I paid $75.00 for it at the local Firestone. It is a great battery.
