Just had this issue and it turned out to be my splash shield...the retaining clip/hook part broke so I installed a new hole and fastener and that has since done the trick. I'd see if that was loose...

Just did the job today and ended up with a stripped bolt on the passenger side...definitely recommend letting the pb sit for awhile to do the job.

Replaced the stabilizer bar bushings...19 years of rust made it really tough. Ended up removing the entire sway bar. Rides smooth now!

Tested all the solenoids and all were between 5.5 and 6.0 so it looks good. Can anyone post a pic of how the manual valve is supposed to sit in the valve body? Does the plastic tip sit facing towards...

Well followed your advice OldNuc and used a hair dryer to the old AC Delco version with the plastic elbow and got it off with no trouble. Fram PCV is now in and hopefully curbs my oil burning. Thanks...

Pulled my first valve body today off an SL1 down at the you pull it. Going to test the solenoids tomorrow but at least the connector doesn't have any burnt terminal ends....and it only cost $20....
