Old and new key fob case

I just switched the key fob case for my Aura to a switch blade case.
Local auto store cut the key portion for free. I cut the original key open to remove the transponder chip. Inside the switch...

Some thoughts on a couple of possible causes:
Open or shorted wiring.
New sensor possibly has bad heater.
Bad ECM.

Locksmith or dealer should be able to do it. Proof of ownership will likely need to be provided.

This might be the bushing you are looking for. The listing says it fits up to 2001 but RockAuto lists the same cable part number for the 2002 so it will likely fit.

It could be bad speakers or the wiring could be broken in the rubber boot where it passes into each door.
For example, this video shows the wiring problem on a rear door....

Best practice would be to disconnect the battery. Inspect the connector and pins for corrosion. The service bulletin says to put dielectric grease on the connector to prevent corrosion.

If the fuses are good it would seem that you are down to the BCM itself, BCM connections or the radio has failed.

A capable scan-tool is needed that has relearn CKP variability functionality. The GM dealer would be able to do it. It's a pretty simple procedure.
The relearn procedure is mainly for misfire...

From what I understand, the Tech2Win application cannot be run in a virtual machine. GDS2 is the application runs in a virtual machine.

I don't own a VCXNANO but if I did, I would install Tech2Win...
