Fuel spraying out the test valve verifies the pump building pressure. However, injectors and spark haven't been verified. Injector operation (also verifies the EFI system is working) is checked by...

If you googled lock cylinder removal/replacement, you might have saved time an energy. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Yt8wnj4qHoc

Re: 2004 vue 2.2 ecotec crank no start after changing coil pack.

For someone not mechanically adept, you've covered most of the troubleshooting from zero knowledge compared to many that can't get past turning the ignition switch............. Hopefully you didn't...

I have on occasion turned my ignition switch to...

Re: HELP!!! L200 is out of whack.

Turn ignition switch to ACC(essory) position (only) and move the shift lever to Neutral. No battery power is needed to do this.

Most tow trucks can grab front or rear wheels and drag a vehicle...

Re: 2001 sc2 overheating, now it's not turning on

With zero starting (engine turns over but doesn't fire up), remove spark plugs and examine them. Either they're wet with fuel or not. This needs to be verified as you'll be diagnosing several things...

Re: 2001 sc2 overheating, now it's not turning on

3-The engine leaking is a mystery. Early cast heads suffered from porous leaks, solved at the dealer level with ginger tablets. The tablets dissolved in hot coolant, circulated around until the loose...

Re: 2001 sc2 overheating, now it's not turning on

1-Remove the coolant sensor and examine it. Its either the original round nosed faulty one or flat nosed brass one.

2-A faulty coolant sensor may cause flooding where spark drowns and fails to...

Re: Question about shifting and pressure needed to push stick in/shift from gear to g

Same shift feel with engine ruining or not makes it a little more difficult to narrow the problem down. waiter21 seems to have good clue about worn shift cables.

Re: Keyless Ignition killing People

Age doesn't matter. Some vehicles are quieter than others but doesn't change the fact that anyone can be distracted and simply forget the engine's running. Habits die hard while new habits create new...
