Re: Katzkin Leather Seat covers for LS \ LS1 \ L100

I was asked if it would also fit 2003-2005 Saturn L200. I would appreciate your input.

Re: Strut recommendations?

2000 cars supposedly have different springs than later cars. They are reputedly stiffer. I guess lowering springs will "lower" the car as well as being stiffer than stock.

Unless springs are...

Re: My L200 needs suspension work and I need advice (please :)

My 2000 LS has about 75K, and I do not have the issue with the sway bars.
Changed my shocks with Monroe Sensatracs @ 60K. The rears were leaking a little, and above all the car was not stable on...

Re: Going to replace Spark Plugs, what to get?

When my 2000LS was recalled for ignition, the module was replaced along with spark plugs, w/ 41-981 AC Delcos in 2004 (six years ago).

My car developed an ignition problem with the replaced...

Re: 03 Saturn LW300 with 75k, would you buy?

I would like to get an LW300 one day. It is a very attractive station wagon. As the other poster, I do not know if the V6 is a blessing. I would rather get the 5 speed 2002 LW200 for the extra...

Re: Ls 2000

You are right on. I find it too much hassle to sell the car, and buy something else with unknown service history. Besides, none of the newer cars have the same clean design as these cars. These were...

Re: Struts/Suspension...

I am pretty sure 2000 4 cylinder springs were also stiff. I overloaded the car with books one time, and the rear wheel openings barely lowered enough to be level with the top of the tires, and no...

Re: oil???

I had mixed experience with 5W30 synthetic (Quaker State) with my 2.2 l Ecotec. It seemed like oil level dropped a quart in a fairly short time. Dino 5W30 was used to top it, and it seemed to stop...

Re: Tire questions for 2000 LS

Hi there,

Traction T/A H was the hot stuff back in 2005, stuck like glue. However, developed cracks in three years on both the sidewall and tread. Sam's club prorated the tires, and I got Michelin...

Re: Love my 03 L Sedan...Do you?

I have 2000 LS (no power windows, locks), and it looks like a Mercedes E class from 2003-2009, except it is more reliable and efficient. I think the Saturn LS is perhaps the best car built by GM in...

Re: Ls 2000

What did you do to the suspension?

I had my shocks replaced w/Monroe Sensatracs, $160 after rebate, and $100 for labor.

Last 12 months, also had cooling hoses replaced, $100 parts, $65 labor....

Re: Going to replace Spark Plugs, what to get?

Bosch +4 is not a good fit for this engine. If you need them, I will send them your way for $15 shipped for four of them. I briefly used them, and they caused enough misfire and problems, that the...

Re: all 4 KYB's for 235

Re: Best Used to Buy? L-series vs Ion?...
