Re: 95' SC1 Side door Upholstery

Advance Auto Parts carries this. They have a full selection of 3M products. Now, where can I find interior car fabrics and fake leathers? Please and thank you.

Re: Bent Frame on SC2 can it be fixed?

When the frame of a car becomes bent, it is pretty much totaled. It can be repaired, but it will never be true again, and it will lead to constant alignment, and tire wear problems. But for $300 it...

Re: Washed Saturn: PIX!

Look at this thread for closeups: http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=103631

As for tinting, the law states front side windows can be tinted 4" from the top of the windows. However,...

Yes, those are custom model badges, courtesy of http://www.youremblems.com.

Re: Please help, major whine from motor

Lolz, I read that as "stick a long screw driver in your ear". OW.

OP: This screwdriver method accomplishes the same thing as a mechanic's stethoscope, which are rather expensive.

Re: Finally...Repainted!!

If you tolerate one ricer, you have to tolerate them all. So you say the car is for "show only", what is it showing off, ridiculous looking mods, fart-can mufflers, a horrendously garish paint job?

Re: Has anyone else been burned by a "Quickie Lube"?

Hey, I have never had a problem with Midas. They are great for exhaust and brake work. But yeah, quick lube places don't employee car-knowledgeable people, they hire anyone. NEVER GO TO THESE PLACES,...

Re: VHT Nightshades or Smoke Color Window Tint.

People actually spray paint their windows? WTF Anyway, I don't suggest you use that on your tails and sides. They will look foggy, not tinted.

Re: Custom Badges, OEM Shift Knob and Pedals! (99SL2)

At any quality auto parts store. I suggest Advance Auto Parts, better priced, better selection, better quality than Auto Zone, and the staff is MUCH more helpful and pleasant.

Re: Custom Badges, OEM Shift Knob and Pedals! (99SL2)

Well you have an SW, so you don't have a "reflector" panel. SO THERE! :p

Re: Custom Badges, OEM Shift Knob and Pedals! (99SL2)

The cord coming from the center console is a direct audio input to the stereo, one of the reasons I purchased the particular Sony head unit that I did. This way I can feed the output from my iPod...

Cool Custom Badges, OEM Shift Knob and Pedals! (99SL2)

So, I got tired of the middle "reflector" on the trunk of my SL2 being glazed and foggy looking. This is a common problem suffered by ALL S-Series 2 level cars.

The first thing I attempted was to...

Re: Lexus Saturn SC?

This kind of thing happens all the time on ebay; sellers post cars with the wrong brand and model. Also, that SC1 is soo not worth 8k, even with 90k miles on it. If it was an SC2 with a bunch of...

Re: SL power loss question

ALWAYS replace the ECTS with a Saturn OEM one (from the dealership). This is a $17 part, with tax, so I'd suggest pulling the one you have, seeing if its fried, and then replacing it. This is a less...

Re: Difference between sc1 and sl1

Don't even bother racing, or souping up a SOHC car, its never going to be worth it. The SOHC engines have around 105HP, DOHC has 124HP. Just trust me, modifying an SOHC engine is a pointless...

Re: Installed New Shift Knob, Key Stuck in Ignition Now

No, I can shift through all the gears, the key just won't come out. Anyone know where the emergency key release is?

Re: Installed New Shift Knob, Key Stuck in Ignition Now

How would this be the problem?

Also, I'll post pics of my knob and new OEM racing pedals in a new thread once I clean up the interior of my car.

Re: Installed New Shift Knob, Key Stuck in Ignition Now

It is my original key that is stuck, I will try wiggling it, but it seems pretty stuck in there. I might just take it over to Midas and have them look at it. I'm not afraid of the car getting...
