Re: Rattling sound upon start up

Its the timing chain. Not a big deal. If it really bothers you use a oil filter with a anti drainback valve.

Re: AC and/or fan broken after mechanic's repair

Or just disconnect it. The fan will turn on right away. When ever there is a open on the cts circuit it defaults to turning the fan on. The way the car sees it its better to turn it on blind than not...

Re: 02 L300/rear struts or shocks?

The car does not have rear shocks. The weight of the vehicle is put through the strut. becuase weight of the car goes through it that makes it a strut. Its a coil over suspension.

Re: New Suzuki XL-7 pricing compared to VUE pricing

The new xl7 and vue share the same chassis. That is the reasoning for this comparison. I also belive the xl7 is being made on the same line as the equinox and torrent.

Re: 2002 L300 ECM/Battery Problem

The replacement delcos have the issue taken care of. They even have the longest free replacement warranty out. But if the delco scares you interstate is a great choice too.

Re: 2002 L300 ECM/Battery Problem

Look at how the positive cable is routed. You will then see why they come up with 3 hours. i would replace the battery and cable first and see if the ecm continues to throw false codes

Re: Radiator hose blowout... help!!!

The hose prolly failed due to it being 10 years old. You should replace the lower hose also along with the clamps. Just hose the engine down with clean water and everything should be fine.

Re: how to change the oil in 03 VUE w/ 3.0 L

That all depends on the design of the canister. I know of 3 diffrent ones between the L and the Vue all are interchangable. But you still need to remove it to replace the seal.
