Re: Sunroof won't close!

Thanks, Chub, for your reply. This is great info!
I've never had the control module out (never needed to), so I have no idea what it looks like, but your info is very helpful. Now that I know where...

Re: Sunroof won't close!

Thanks for your input, fdryer.
Yes, I'm inclined to believe that the problem is with the switch. I'll check around and see if I can find a DIY guide. Hopefully someone who has experience with this...

Re: Sunroof won't close!

Yes, I usually keep the tracks clean and well lubed with lithium grease. But I haven't done it in a long time, so they're definitely due. But I think that today's hiccup has more to do with an...

Re: Sunroof won't close!

So, I was all set to go to the hardware store to get tape so that I could cover the opening with plastic. Got in the car, and as I was backing out I decided to give the sunroof another try,...

Help!
I was coming back home, and when I tried closing my sunroof, it wouldn't close. I tried opening it more and it did go back normally, but it won't go forward. Tried again a couple of inches...

Re: What did you do to your S-Series today...

JYs are a great way to practice before touching your own car. :D
A few years ago, I too did a few practice sessions taking apart other Saturns at the JY. Some of it was to actually get parts that I...

Re: Iron X iron remover - opinions?

Many years ago I had pretty much settled on the car care products I used, so I hadn't even looked at anything else. I've been looking on Amazon and YT, and it seems that there has been an explosion...

Re: Iron X iron remover - opinions?

Thanks, guys, for the input. Yes, I do intend to claybar after I get rid of the bulk of the brake dust, or whatever it is that's stuck to the surface. But first I need to find out if an iron remover...

Iron X iron remover - opinions?

My Satty's paint is feeling a bit rough. Probably because of brake dust, fallout, whatever it's called. So I'm thinking of using a product like Iron X, but probably a cheaper brand. I've been reading...

Re: What tires are everyone using?

I don't drive much either, so to prevent my tires (Continental Pro-Contact) from drying out and cracking, I apply '303 Aerospace Protectant' a couple times a year. Great stuff -- it goes on on all my...

Applied 303 Aerospace Protectant to all the exterior rubber and plastic trim.

Re: Broken dash pad clips "fix"

A few years ago I tried doing something like this to fix my loose A-pillar, but the velcro wasn't strong enough to hold the A-pillar in place. The force pulling the A-pillar away from the door frame...

Re: "oiling" the subframe to prevent rust?

Hmmm... sounds like it's a more involved procedure than I imagined. I thought it might be just a matter of brushing some oil around or using a spray bottle. These I could do. But I don't have the...

"oiling" the subframe to prevent rust?

Re: After 11 years, time to replace the radiator again

When I needed to replace my radiator a few years ago, many members here highly recommended the Silla brand. So that's what I did. Looks like Amazon has them, and many other places too. Check for the...

Re: One thing you wish Saturn had done.

I wish they had put in sturdier odometer gears that don't disintegrate. I guess they didn't count on the cars lasting so long.
Same goes for all the plastic pins and tabs (inside door, holding...
