Re: What did you do to your S-Series today...
Installed the new oxygen sensor in the 98 SW2 in the morning before work, and watched the SES light go out on the way home. Still working on the stuck bolt situation for the 95 SC2.

Re: What did you do to your S-Series today...
P0133 code on the SW2 yesterday, and the SC2 has its rear brakes apart, so I borrowed the oxygen sensor from the SC2 and put it in the SW2.
Worked on the rear brakes of the SC2, calipers have...

Re: What did you do to your S-Series today...

98 SW2, today, picked up the driver's side steering knuckle at the shop that pressed the bearing in and put the knuckle back on. Greased the tie rod end and checked on the brake caliper on that...

Re: Oil Pan Replacement Time
Yes, the exhaust downpipe will need to be removed from the manifold to create space to move the pan. The front dogbone mount below the timing cover will also come off, and that will provide space to...

Re: factory fog lights installation
The basic wiring from the switch pod to the UHJB is there, but you will need to get the lights, brackets, switch pod, and wiring from the UHJB to the lights.
The basic instructions are on...

Re: coolant temp sensor
The splices are part of the problem, the connections oxidize and make the electrical connection unreliable. Check the connector that attaches to the sensor and make sure it is not corroded, while in...

Re: Venting a little bit.
This reminds me of the comic in Hot Rod magazine in the early 1980's where a man had sold his Deuce, and the ghost of it shows up at the foot of his bed one night to haunt him while making nice...

For everyone who still wants to post in this thread asking about it, the maker of these kits moved overseas and has not been heard from since late 2009, you should forget about this option.

These stories are from at least nine years ago, and I've tried to do my own oil changes ever since.
I had the gas station around the corner change my oil once, and I mean once, and they had a...

Re: pop-up housing removal
A lot of these from the north country have already turned to dust, and the pot metal is horrible and corrodes easily.
The middle trim piece that fastens to the bumper with 5 nuts is indeed a key...

Re: pop-up housing removal
IIRC it helped that I removed the metal plate that is held in with three nuts that is just to the rear of the front bumper fascia, gave me a little bit of wiggle room. You will have some rust on the...
