Are you referring to the snaps? Page 6 shows “Snap Studs”. If you don’t have them, they are just the other half of a snap with a phillips head screw where the mounting/attachment rivet would normally...

For some reason, you’re never supposed to mix stainless steel and aluminum.
As an alternative, if you use longer bolts and stack a bunch of washers, the bolt will act as a spring and hold clamping...

:no: A front brake shield was not an option with the S-Series. There are no front brake shields (the Empty Set) on the S-Series.

If you want curve control, be sure to buy a top quality 40-grit sanding belt for your bench sander. Also, you will need a 1/2 horsepower electric motor to spin the tire while the belt sander grinds...

Some tires will work better with the saw-cut gr:cool::cool:ves in concrete highways. I have no idea what those tires might be, but I adjusted camber closer toward zero because of the saw-cut...

It’s Firehawk “AS”.
After a long highway run, I will grind the (still warm) “AS” tire round with the belt sander. It will probably be fine after that.

Drove the two new rear tires 230 miles. Handling improved A LOT. :)

Interesting that the nubs wore off the slightly out-of-round tire, but did not wear off the one tire that runs true. ...
