Re: 2007 ION Preview

Re: gm ground effects from cobalt on ion?

Just a minor correction, that's not the factory body kit (saturn doesn't offer an OEM body kit for the sedan at the moment). What you see is actually the APC body kit for the sedan and can be found...

Re: What a week for my 04 Ion

And you're surprised that GM uses a jap produced tranny in our cars? You do realize that the VUE uses a honda engine right? Manufacturers use each other's parts all the time.

The lotus elise...

Re: What's my (cars) problem?!

You're right to a degree. Over-inflating will cause you to lose traction which is what I meant by reducing your contact patch with the road. Stock tires recommend 30 for best mileage and day-to-day...

Re: What's my (cars) problem?!

Lol, you two beat me to it :P

Re: What's my (cars) problem?!

For starters, if you plan on doing lots of aggressive driving, pump those tires to 40-42 psi or you'll wear out the shoulders on the turns. Stock tires are crap, get some new ones and bigger 16"...

Re: What a week for my 04 Ion

Dude, I tried to keep my mouth shut, but I feel you need a real smackdown. If you don't even know what the VTI is, then you know **** about Ions. VTI is the auto tranny for the QCs.

For your...

My eibachs finally got delivered, but after a quick call to see how much it'd be for an alignment, I was informed that modifications would have to be done to the struts to adjust for negative camber....

Re: Question about outer trim piece

Re: Question about outer trim piece

Those must be the roof rails that you're talking about. I've seen several Ions come equipped with different colored rails from the dealer, but personally, I prefer body colored ones.... Never really...

Re: tapered vs straight?

so jmettee, it sounds like the tapered approach is a good idea? (based on the articles you sent)

since the vaccuum created by the tapered design will draw more air into the entire intake system...
