Re: Heat/AC slider busted

Thanks, I'll check that out when I get home. I know how to do it in my 1998 S-series, but this 1994 is different.

Thanks for the advice, that will help for when I am ready for this. However, what I meant was I don't know how to take the dash apart.

Re: Muffler, what muffler!?

I was mistaken in my last post, I thought you were talking about something else. The price for that part listed on Autozone is $16.99. The price certainly is right! Other than the tip thing, anything...

Re: Muffler, what muffler!?

I read those things aren't quite as quiet as regular mufflers. Would you say that is true?

Re: Variable assist power steering

I must be confused, since it has been a few months, but I really thought there was a difference when he had something plugged in there.

What happened was he took the old pump out because it...

Re: Heater works better when stopped

How do I know the difference between 195F and 185F? For example, on the Autozone website, there are two thermostats listed but I do not see this designation listed.

Thanks for the info.

Re: Variable assist power steering

I bought it at Autozone using the part lookup for my vehicle. This has been so long though that I don't remember exactly what part it was.

Hi, I have a 1994 SL1 I think, with manual windows. On both of the front doors the windows don't roll up all the way. You can crank them up and there is about 1/2" gap and if you turn the handle more...

So I am not sure how to best sum this up in the title of this post. When I am driving at highway speeds I can barely feel the heat coming from anywhere at all. When I am stopped at a light or sign I...

Hello,

My ex-wife busted the slider on my heater control so I can't select among floor, winshield, etc. I have a 1994 SL1 I think it is. Can I just get a replacement from a junk yard? I'm assuming...

Re: Overheating, oil in coolant res

What my dad was telling me, as far as he could figure, if it was a cracked head, I'd need a new gasket anyways. So he suggested I get a new gasket and a new head, if the head was bad use the one I...
