Intermittent non-Start 97 SW2 Manual Trans
Been having trouble with my '97 Lately. At first the problem only occurred when the engine was hot. Sometimes when I would try to start it, nothing would happen and the indicator lights on the dash...

Re: Alternatives to Spike Spiders?
Hmm... that is a problem. Perhaps I can hijack the 14 inch wheels off my SL1. Still might tear up the car. Perhaps I'll just rent a truck and mess up someone else's car.

Alternatives to Spike Spiders?
Are there any other low-profile alternatives to Spike Spiders? Might end up in some snow in the near future. I was hoping there were slightly cheaper alternatives to Spike Spiders. I hear some...

CarFax, etc...
Can anyone run a check for me on a VIN number for a Saturn VUE? I know this isn't an S-Series question, but I figure there are still more S-Series owners like me out there.
I tried the old...

Re: How to Change Power Door Lock Switch 98 sL2
Sounds fair. Glad they don't overcharge for shipping on EBay. Perhaps you can ask the EBay seller if they have a passenger side switch they can order for you. I'd imagine a lot of these sellers...

Re: How to Change Power Door Lock Switch 98 sL2
I went and called a former Saturn Dealer in Hawaii and they have the parts. They're $37.49 a piece (I'm guessing they'll charge you tax too). Guy in the parts department told me they had them in...

Re: How to Change Power Door Lock Switch 98 sL2
I just went and Googled "GM Parts Online" and found https://www.gmpartsonline.net had them for less and shipping was less too. It's about $48.50 for a right and left, shipping included. I didn't go...

Re: How to Change Power Door Lock Switch 98 sL2
I guess Nalley is cheaper. Since you're already paying for shipping, may as well get other stuff your Saturn will need that are dealer-only type items... like the PCV Valve and a spare ECTS.

Re: How to Change Power Door Lock Switch 98 sL2
I guess it's still cheaper on EBay. After a BS shipping fee and BS "handling" fee on the websites... the consolidated fees on EBay are cheaper. Just use the part numbers to find them on EBay,...

Re: How to Change Power Door Lock Switch 98 sL2
Wow. This thread is still alive after all this time? I believe you can still buy the part. After posting on this thread I ended up having to replace the switch on my wife's car. I liked it so...

Re: Uneven hood on a 2006 AWD V6 VUE
I live in California, is 10w-30 oil okay for the V6 VUE? Or is 5W-20 specific for truck engines? I'll probably ended up using some kind of mixed synthetic anyway.
Thanks,
Sam

Re: Uneven hood on a 2006 AWD V6 VUE
Cool! Thanks. If I do end up buying this car, I guess I'll be hanging around this forum for quite some time. I used to spend half my life on the S-Series forum when things weren't going right for...

Re: Uneven hood on a 2006 AWD V6 VUE
Thanks for all the replies. So it looks like I'll need at least 4 quarts of Honda ATF? Perhaps 12, if I want more fluid swapped (I'm guessing I'll need this if the previous owner hasn't changed it...

Re: Uneven hood on a 2006 AWD V6 VUE
Are there walkthroughs available for some of these fluid changes? Times like these I wish Richpin06a had a Saturn VUE to play with. ^_^ Aside from the spark plugs (looks like a pain, but...

Re: Uneven hood on a 2006 AWD V6 VUE
The car has about 105K miles on it. I'd assume the timing belt hasn't been changed. How much would that cost to replace? Anything else croak around 100K miles?
Thanks,
Sam

Re: Uneven hood on a 2006 AWD V6 VUE
Just saw a "Hood Adjuster Bumper" on EBay, perhaps I just need to screw or unscrew this bumper to level the hood? Thanks for any help in advance!
