Thanks for replying. I dont use the onstar, but want to retain the steering wheel controls, chimes and warnings, and 12 v power sources. Does this mean I only need the PAC unit?

well i also talked to crutchfield. they said they dont recommend changing the factory head unit on this model. Seems i will lose onstar, vehicle warnings, and 12 volt power sources. I dont subscribe...

I am still loving my saturn vue, but i think its time for a stereo upgrade. I think our cars have double din?

What are you guys using for this? I am looking for touchscreen...

I got a CEL this morning, shows P0442. I know its a small evap system leak. Reseated the gas cap and cleared the code manually.

Question: Is there any well known problems on these...

i guess so. I just order the precision moog from oreilly w/ 3yr warranty. Fingers crossed!

figures! I agree with you there. On some other forums people have received Timken's with "made in china" stamped on the box too. I might just go with oreilly's moog hub because I dont have to pay for...

Cool. Now i just have to decide between Timken or Precision. From what I read, Timken is better. That means I'd go back to autozone. :dizzy:

I see what you mean. After a wheel bearing change, are you supposed to have the wheels aligned? I did not do this last time.

Do you guys think a mis-torqued axel nut would cause this tho? Why is it eating wheel bearings? I dont have much experience with hub assemblies.

I am thinking about maybe going with a precision...

Dang that sux. I bet autozone crap comes from china too. What do we make anymore in the US anyway? I only put about 10 to 15k miles on this bearing.

Thanks for the quick reply. I called autozone and they told me the same thing. It's over a year so its out of warranty. :upset: I dont remembe what exactly I torqued the nut at. I am not even sure...

Yes all the alignment looks good on the door. It closes well and everything, but is just not tight at the top. Thats why i kind of hate to mess with the hinges.

Thanks for the tip. I tried to readjust the striker, but the counter sunk bolts keep bringing it back the original position.

UPDATE

Changed the passenger side front wheel bearing and everythings back to normal. The only thing different is the axle nut was 33 mm, not 30mm like i read in another thread.
