Re: How to pull the engine?

I have pulled at least a dozen (lost track) out the bottom.

I live in Michigan - big time rustbelt.

The Rules:

1. PB blaster is your friend. Use him. A lot. Have more than 1 can.

2. Time...

Re: How to pull the engine?

Re: Front end roaring and vibrations

Jack up that wheel.

If you can rock the wheel - top and bottom - and feel/ see movement - and probably hear clunking as well - it's a bearing.

Of course if it IS the control arm - when you pop...

Re: Fixing worn wiper arm?

If the splines are reasonably good on the shaft - simply get a used arm at a junkyard.

If the splines are shot on the shaft - you could always drill through it (assembled with arm timed...

Re: removing rear speaker cover for SC 2nd gen?

Not the most sanitary version.

Re: My proud achievement

Get an AR-15 in .450 Bushmaster.

It's remarkably effective on deer - and a whole lot safer than running them over...

Re: Would replacing my air filter improve my mpg?

You can get 41 mpg by inflating the tires slightly over 42 psi - running 0% alcohol -in warm, dry weather.

Or any day with a 25 mph tailwind....

Agreed. But don't tell the civillians...

I got my 02 SC2 cheap - because the kid knew the heater core was leakibg and thought it was a horrible job....

Of course he just put in a bunch of air...

Re: What am I looking at in this picture? (on the underbody)

Not to worry....

1996 SC2 (manual tranny, no sun roof or A/C, steel wheels)
...
