What size in-line fuse should I get. From everything I know they say a fuse should never have more than 80% of its rating for a load. So I figure I need about an 87.5 amp fuse. Round up I assume...

I meant 9.5 volts. The battery was dying cause the alternator wasn't charging it i think. I had about 12.4 when I had the jump box connected.

I wiggled the positive and negative cable any place I could reach. Could it be the fusible link. Could there be internal damage so it is fused open obviously causing resistance and interdentally...

I did not have the new alternator tested before installing, that is a great idea that I will do tomorrow when I buy a new one.

Yeah I agree. From everything I've read and deduced it seems bearing. I've had CV joints go out in other cars and it was very different. I've turned the wheel all the way and made very slow circles...
