The spark plugs, and timing belt were replaced at about 110k.

I have not had a compression test done yet. (Oh how I miss having an engine that I could easily do it myself) I had already been...

Performance problems, with the smell of unburned fuel, NO codes

Hey all,

I'm hoping someone can at least point me in the right direction. I've got a L300, with 183k miles on it. I've recently replaced all of the O2 sensors, the MAF sensor along with a drive...

Re: black gunk in the air intake

Hi S3nfo! I'm not sure how to even go about doing that on this engine. I've got the simple do-it-yourself equipment, and have done it on other engines, but my understanding is that you have to take...

Dizzy Re: black gunk in the air intake

Hello all,

Thanks for all the great input. I'm very frustrated that I'm still chasing this problem. :xeye: What I've done so far;

Re: Is it the battery, or just me?

For what it's worth...

Re: Traction Control problems

Yea, I'm with lostwages on this one. I'm working on a MAF problem (same error codes) in my L300 right now. As long as the SES light is on, my traction control is disabled. By the way, don't worry...

Re: black gunk in the air intake

Hi Born Again,

Thanks for taking a stab at this. The mileage is probably considered high, for it's age (an 01), sitting at ~108,000. Probably about 65k of those miles have been put on in the...

Hello all,

I've been working on a P0171/P0174/P0102 problem for a while now. A few months ago I (upon recommendation of the dealership) replaced the MAF sensor. All was fine for about two...
