Re: Saturn Stuck in 3rd Gear

I think you meant 04 L200 4cyl. Better to post a new thread of a suspected faulty input speed sensor and any error code(s) suggesting sensor fault.

Re: 2002 LW300 Brake Boost Failure?

Well now, you're the expert on hard nylon heating for removal of this vacuum check valve. Apparently I don't have the patience to wait for this *!%@?;-< to soften as you dd. Better yet, you avoided...

Re: Wrench Light, no symptoms, 2005 VUE

joshjani, a number of P type error codes won't show up on generic readers and P0873 is one of them. Since the engine light never turned on and the wrench light did, VCX NANO decoded it. As you become...

Re: '03 L200 Bong question.

Mistakes that don't hurt anyone and shared for a good laugh while pointing out how not to do things are life's little pleasures.

Remember, the yellow oil can dripping oil is not a low oil light....

Re: '03 L200 Bong question.

'Dats your oil change light (yellow). No it's not a bong. It's reminding you to change oil and filter. Your owner's manual describes it. The algorithm takes into account number of engine cycles,...

Re: 2002 LW300 Brake Boost Failure?

Yes, I'm an expert at screwing up. Fortunately, achievements far outnumber mistakes. At least 2 to 1.........

Dimensions are left out in both items, a concern not mentioned in forums, especially...

Re: 2002 LW300 Brake Boost Failure?

A follow up with one snapshot and possibly a better suggestion if the Dorman vacuum check valve has a larger O.D. barbed fitting than the original.

I removed the Dorman 90 degree hose extension...

Re: 2002 LW300 Brake Boost Failure?

Unless Dorman makes the vacuum check valve in a smaller diameter for the hose end, (I have no idea, maybe 5mm/1/4" OD?) the universal Dorman check valve has a larger OD than our Saturns check valve....

Re: 2003 ION Stalls at Stop....Now Dangerous to Drive

First post states no cel. Your last post now states a cel, presumably from replacing the crank sensor. In my limited knowledge, every cel is accompanied by at least one error code stored in memory...

Re: 2002 LW300 Brake Boost Failure?

Brakes should work whether its sub freezing or desert heat. On L300s, the vacuum port for the power brake booster is on the rear intake runner. The hard nylon hose runs from the top of the round...

Re: Fuel Filter Installation

When the old filter was removed, did you examine both ends on filter and fuel lines? If more than one O-ring fell off the end of the new filter, perhaps the old one was inside the fuel line and went...

Re: 2004 Saturn Vue AWD

Rarely does anyone post a crank sensor error code (P0335) because of a simple premise. How can the average person know he/she is having a heart attack (unless well informed) then reach out for a...

Re: Aura won't start

Before assuming this starter failed, some questions to consider.

*Is the engine seized, preventing the starter from turning the engine? Are you able to manually turn the engine by hand using tools...

Re: 2004 Saturn Vue AWD

Re: 2003 ION Stalls at Stop....Now Dangerous to Drive

What's the code? Unless someone has Saturn service manuals for reference, either a GM dealer is needed to perform recalibration of crank signals to ecm or the ecm will perform calibration on its own....
