Re: 2007 Vue Squeaking When hitting Certain Speeds

OK, I dug this up again, you don't state your location if you have high humidity, dampness or salty corrosies used on the roads as we do on Planet Ohth. I used to pry this tab back every so often,...

Re: 2007 Vue Squeaking When hitting Certain Speeds

Sounds like it's in the cabin, I'd say the rubbing tab on the front brake heat shield I posted years back, but sounds too high pitched. Is the pitch speed dependent?

Re: Rear driveshaft

$100 a lot? I paid $200 or $220 for somewhat corroded 17" VUE 5 Spokes.

Typical Garage floor look on the Planet Ohth, & I haven't parked a winter car in there in over 20 years now, it just keeps...

Re: Pot Hole can actually ruin a Saturn Vue Engine. Who knew?

I thought the orange was the sun, I never got the red & grey up here on planet Ohth, perhaps filthy snow, & the fact you want to slit your wrists when you eventually get sick of seeing it! :D I...

Re: Frame rust

Yes, I was looking at your repair (nice job), that's the same area I believe. (It's hard sometimes to discern area under the vehicle by pictures). I'm not that resourceful any more let alone lack...

Re: Pot Hole can actually ruin a Saturn Vue Engine. Who knew?

That doesn't look like the factory blue, it looks too green unless the camera is bringing the green out. Looks like a deep teal! :)

I spent a summer in Hallendale (off 858) years ago (not the...

Re: Frame rust

That is the front.

Isn't that area where the K frame mounts? The pictures need to be rotated 90 degrees CW.

Time to let it go?

Re: Honda Transmission lines leaking?

TY, actually arthritic hands! Its the tugging & seizing that will be the problem especially not being able to grip them.

It's sitting in 15" of snow right now.

Re: Why 100mph max speed?

& you live in AZ, likely your roads are in nice condition.

Yes, I won't take mine on the highway until I know what the rear thudding is, likely the bearing had a flat spot that appeared 6 months...

Re: Honda Transmission lines leaking?

In an ideal world, yes, hate to put another grand into it & find the K frame is gone like Mr. Buffalo told me a few years back.

Dunno if the tape will work, & lines all look seized.

About a...

Re: Honda Transmission lines leaking?

In the link you had posted for Rock, I see one for FWD & another for AWD, but only one line a piece. (??)

I don't buy online, & just too much low hanging fruit on this vehicle now + the service...

Re: new vue owner need some assist...

& you got the 6 too! :) Car spend its life in NM? if so, it's still clean I bet!

Yet any dealer wants 4 grand at least, even up here with compromising rust issues.

Re: Honda Transmission lines leaking?

Thank ypou for the links & yes that's where its leaking looks like at the transmission. Looks like a 1 piece assembly connected on the flange near the block, yet the ones shown at Rock is one tube,...

Honda Transmission lines leaking?

Found transmission fluid on the ground, thought it may had been my failure to replace the crush washer "every time" I did the transmission fluid swap, yet I see the fluid coming from what appears to...

Unlike mine has a pattern.

Oscillating thudding Right Rear (http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=236826)

Clean underneath...

I had the heat shields also clattering. Impressive...

Re: Decision time - LW200

When I say hauling, I meant just within the confines of the vehicle. A trailer hitch on any used vehicle I look at kind of throws up a red flag... Actually the first XC70 I looked at had a hitch.

Re: Decision time - LW200

Interesting, I never hauled anything in the LW (yet) but I will imagine I may be driving it more. I'm thinking about the same as an illusion the LW may appear longer behind the rear seats but...

Re: Decision time - LW200

Thank you, that was informative! I'd be looking at an older one as old as '05 in the 120K -170K range as I only drive 5-6K a year, & preferably one the was spent its years in the South, the ones I'm...

Re: Brake & Service Lamp on

Shorted switch, I was too focused on finding the float in the reservoir.

This apparently trips the service wrench lamp... thanks.

Re: MOOG replacment springs, yet another MOOG fail

Was told even the Timken line is Chinaized too. Do they still manufacture anything there or strictly corporate pencil pushers & bean counters.
