Good-bye

It has been sometime since my last post on this forum. Just wanted to let everyone know that I finally gave up on my 2007 Saturn Outlook. After getting the sun roof "fixed" for the 5th time, having...

Re: Does this look familiar?

The Traverse? Really? I thought it looked more like the Outlook.

I guess we know where the Saturn Outlook went...

Re: Tires

Check out the Michelin - Latitude Tour TR. They come in 19" (255/60R19 ) and they are awesome. I've never had luck with Goodyear unfortunately.

Re: Parts Availability for Outlooks

I would agree that there is certainly a trust issue to be considered.

From the three repair attempts for the water leak that led to having all of the interior panels replaced because the...

Re: Parts Availability for Outlooks

Not sure I would consider myself a whiner. With the amount of crap I've gone through with this vehicle, Saturn going away is simply the straw that broke the camel's back.

The issues with the...

Re: Parts Availability for Outlooks

Well, good luck with that. Unless GM comes out with a flying car, this is my last GM purchase. I love the designs (Cadillac SRX, Chevy Equinox) but I won't be fooled by that twice. Just had to buy...

Re: 09 Outlook XR FWD - Engine Vibration at low RPM's/low gears

Is it a vibration, or a buzz? If it is the latter, I have the same issue at RPMs between 1K and 1.5K and speeds of 40-45 MPHs. It developed after I got the transmission flash. I don't have this...

Re: Outlook vs. 24" of Snow

Unfortunately, we have the same Outlook (silver pearl, running boards, etc.) but mine is front wheel drive. Had to get a push up the street from a few neighbors before I could get going. Even with...

Re: Outlook to Traverse? GM, you're a riot!

I already have nearly 50K miles on my '07, so there's no doubt I'm keeping this thing 'til it won't run (which might be sooner than we think). GM is really going to have to blow me away for me to...

Re: factory amp location?

The factory amp is located underneath the steering wheel - just to the left, behind the panel below the steering wheel. Its a small rectangular box with about four wire clusters connected to it. If...

Re: Steering Column Noise

Here, Here!

That's been my experience as well. This is my first and last Saturn. I may not buy another GM vehicle after this experience. It just seems as though, with the new models, the service...

Re: Steering Column Noise

Glad to finally "hear" someone else having this problem. I made the mistake of going back to Saturn of Gaithersburg to have this looked at. After having the car for a full day, I was told they...

Re: 2007 outlook power sterring noise

I think quite a few owners have had this problem and have been given the same work around (topping of the power steering fluid). It doesn't last very long. Just another annoying design flaw with...

Re: Goodyear Eagle RS-A

Based on the many of the reviews I found on the following site,

http://www.carreview.com/mfr/goodyear/tires/PRD_986_1577crx.aspx#review0

This tire just isn't doing that well.

Re: Interior water leaks

There is insulation between the headliner the the roof sheet metal. I would definitely make sure they replace that as well (mold). Also, if they are anything like my former dealership, check and...

Re: Goodyear Eagle RS-A

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Unfortunately it seems Michelin has the only option for the 19" wheel. Tire Rack is having a special on this tire ($113/tire). I think I need to change my tires,...

Goodyear Eagle RS-A

Has anyone had traction problems with this tire? Specifically on wet pavement? I have about 30,000 on my Outlook and for some time, the slightest amount of moisture on the road causes me traction...

No tint (except the factory tint). I have a Silver Pearl XR with running boards and 19" rims.

Re: Advanced 2-way Remote

Thanks. Just had my car at your dealership yesterday for the windshield wiper recall and tranny update. Its a bit of a hike from Gaithersburg but worth it. I'm going to try to get back there to...

Did the remote come with installation instructions? I'm dropping my vehicle off at the dealership on Monday and am thinking about ordering the new remote. Do you think your tech...

Re: Advanced 2-way Remote

My last service was in June. I'm probably due for another service appointment soon. May have to look into that 2-way remote. How is the range?

Re: Advanced 2-way Remote

Yup. I'm in Derwood. Used to take my vehicle to the Gaithersburg dealership but my last service I took it to your location. Automobile Blvd. correct?
