Re: M6 clip nut torque spec?

If you're truly OCD then either find local free library access to alldata or subscribe to it to find torque specs from GM service manuals.

In certain industries (electronics) and maybe military...

Re: 2001 Saturn L300 - v6 3.0 Liter - Alternator (I didn't install it correctly) ?

Start a new thread but briefly mention this thread of electrical modifications then removed to restore original wiring and now having a wrench code. Or just open the new thread with a link to this...

Re: M6 clip nut torque spec?

Clip nuts are always low torque because of their design as clip ons. Tightening the bolt too tight simply twists the clip nut until its damaged, stripped or twists/breaks off wherever its clipped...

Re: Anti Theft

To review your descriptions, turning the ignition key to ON/RUN position shows security first flashing then remains ON? If yes, security remains on (not flashing), Passlock security isn't the issue....

Re: 2001 SC1 CKS Trouble

When you tried to screw in a lag bolt into the guts of the crank sensor, the bolt expanded the sensor for a tighter fit in the engine block hole, making it nearly impossible to pull it out. All you...
