^^^^ There seems to be a consensus here that the OEM works better than any aftermarket upper mount. I personally experienced that same ‘phenomenon’ after first getting a non OEM and it worked poorly...

^^^^ Very respectable gas mileage. Most of the point of getting a small car. I went from a new 92 SL2 to a new 94 SL1 because I wanted better mileage.

the RockAuto option is tempting but there's only a 6 month Warranty. it's easier to walk into an Autozone with the mount to be replaced in hand and head home and finish the swap than doing a warranty...

Genuine GM OEM is best, but from what i have read here lately they are not available (you can search eBay and perhaps find one and pay a premium price)

why not switch to a thicker in the heat weight like a 5w-40 or a 10w-40. Basically what I am asking is... isn't the top/high number more about the hot end of the spectrum?

Kept improving on the S-Series. Making changes to the original design instead of starting over with a ground up new design like the Ion. Car models tend to become bulletproof that way.
