My plan is to go to a Town Fair Tire and find an ordinary but smaller size 14in tire that fits in the well first and then see if it fits on my skinny 'donut' rim.

That's step 1 of my plan.

Okay, since the compact spare should only be put on the back anyway and I have little drum brakes on the rear, I am going to see if I can find a 13 or 14 in thin steel rim and put a sorta tall thin...
