Re: Ever Sell On Ebay?

You can do auction, auction with reserve price, fixed price (basically, buy It now only), or fixed price with best offers.

Re: '98 SL2 To Fix Or Not To Fix

Timing chain rattle doesn't go away, so it is probably not chain-related. Could be lifters, pulleys driven by the serpentine belt, or something.

Check the rear left (driver side) of the black...

Good to see you back and the Red Hot is still kicking, Pitcher!

I try to get on when I can, not always successful :)

I saw Barn Owl post a few days ago.

Re: Silly Electrons

Interesting, thanks.

Seems like the kind of thing you can do every so often. For example, when a new battery is needed every 5~7 years, disconnect the negative first and turn everything on in...

Re: Stumped on loss of oil pressure.

You're welcome!

I dunno if I should feel bad that I managed to put my hands in there to get #15 out :D

The fun part is getting the cover back in, with the RTV on it and not touching anything....

First, welcome to saturnfans. :) It's a friendly and knowledgeable place.

Second, please don't post questions in this thread - nobody is upset or offended, it's just that people don't read it...

Re: Valve cover gasket

Interesting, another thread states 22 ft/lb but problems using that much torque, ends with OldNuc recommending 16~18 ft/lbs

Re: 2000 SL2 massive oil loss, 148,000 miles, PCV valve hose, thoughts?

Yes, the bottom of the diamond/hash marks has a line indicating a quart low. See line 1 in attached pic.

I recommend against letting it get to that far down the dipstick, though

I actually...

It's kind of like a "like" or "thank you" button for helpful posts. Never knew or cared much about that, either, never really noticed until it started changing.

It shows up after you post - see...

Re: What would the S-Series look like if GM would'nt have stopped making them?

Yes, Low Saturn has done full body panel swaps on both sedans and coupes.

There was a thread about unusual junkyard finds or something - in one of them, someone posted up a pic of a red, 2nd gen...

Re: Serpentine belt 2001 SC1

It's more of a challenge with horizontal filters. What I do is:

Turn filter upside down in its box. Fill the filter about 3/4 to the top with oil and close it to keep dust out.

Drain oil,...

Re: Replace 95 SL1 PCM with 96 PCM

Hold, on, granted the wiring is all different, but . . .

But here, the...
