Re: Thanks SaturnFans

100% Certain, the 1.4L Multiair Turbo used in the Dart, Renegade, and Fiat 500 has an electric water pump added to cool the turbo. I've seen it in the car, I've seen the engine out of the car with it...

Re: Thanks SaturnFans

Well, essentially that's why a lot of cars didn't have turbos in the 80's, 90's, and 00's, is because the oil feed lines coke up with burnt oil, when they're shut off at very high temps, because oil...

Re: dead fuel pump AGAIN?

Some edits to my above post I forgot about.

The fuel filter is a spot of touchy diagnosis on Saturn S Series, as there is a disconnect between some members on them. They only exist on OBDII...

Re: dead fuel pump AGAIN?

If you have verified your fuel pump is receiving power, and ground, but the pump is operational, and you have low pressure, you need to do the following:

Fuel pump RPM test: You need to know how...

Re: A/C Repair questions and preparation

Proper diagnosis of the A/C system is very important here, because otherwise you'll basically be dumping R-134 to atmosphere. Not that it's a huge deal as it is relatively harmless compared the...

Re: Thanks SaturnFans

The Water pump on the car actually has an extended warranty of 15 years/150,000 miles, because they've had so many problems. I think it's because they have a built in turbo-timer, but I have no...

Re: Thanks SaturnFans

Alright, I went a long time without being able to get on here.

I'll respond to it all at once. Fdryer. If by the blower, you mean the Turbo, the thing has almost no lag (because it's tiny),...

Re: Thanks SaturnFans

If I end up unable to sell it for what I want, I'll probably keep it and just make it a project for something to do, or a spare car in case of emergency. Probably do the oil control ring mod.

Re: Help looking for another car OT ( Dodge )

I would stay away from Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, or RAM vehicles. They are in fact, terrible cars. They have weird and annoying mechanical and electric issues, and they are some of the rustiest rust...

Thanks SaturnFans

It's been 7 years, and a long 110,000 miles that I've put on my 95 SC2, it's been mostly good, with the occasional frustration, normal of a 22 year old car. A couple weeks ago I had a transmission...

Re: Trans Cooler Lines

I have no idea what happened, but I have a neighbor that hates my guts because of my male German Shepherd. No idea why he does, but he's tried $*%T on us before.

I got new trans cooler lines, but...

Back From Nowhere

Hey everyone,

I'm Razzle_Dazzle (on here anyway), I go by multiple monikers and names, but Kieva tends to be the one I go by on the internet these days. I've been a member of Saturn fans for a...

Trans Cooler Lines

The Quick Connects on my trans cooler lines broke during removal, during a radiator job. No surprise, I had the nuts out miraculously, but threaded them back in because the weather went to crap in...

Re: Saturn SL2 won't turn over.

Considering the oil, I'd recommend a compression test to start it off, to make sure the engine isn't damaged internally. If the timing is lost, or anything else has happened, then it will show up...

Re: Best Looking Year/Model In Your Opinion?

Easily the 95/96 SC2, the changes to the fascia make it more attractive than the 94 and older SC2's. I love the SC's body in general, but the 95's are easily the nicest.

Extra nice is if you...

Re: 2001 bumblebee!!!!! With 49 miles on it.

I don't know about you, but in my area Saturns are still a dime a dozen, and most junkyards have at least two of them at any given time, the only hard parts to find in the case of this car because...

Re: 2001 bumblebee!!!!! With 49 miles on it.

I already mentioned my theory, I think it's a show car and while it hasn't been driven, the engine has been run. The Engine Light could be explained by a few things, like a rodent chewing one of the...

Re: 2001 bumblebee!!!!! With 49 miles on it.

Heh, I didn't know that. I was a wee pup when these cars were rolled out. But that would explain why I've never actually seen one, or an ad for one in such a long time. Last ad I saw for one was...

Re: 2001 bumblebee!!!!! With 49 miles on it.

It has never been driven if it has 49 miles on it. The nature of the car indicates a few things.
1. This car was either bought by an employee of Saturn, or a severe devotee to the company because...

Re: $300 to replace Belt Tensioner & Belt

It's really not hard to replace it, especially if the tensioner is already off. Look up Richpin's how-to. :dizzy:

I took 30 minutes to replace mine, and that was with removing the belt, and...

Re: Reverse issue

Also check your transmission temperature sensor. It's the same as the ECTS, in fact, if it's never been changed, go to a parts store, buy an ECTS, and replace the TTS with it.

It's the same...
