Re: I have 2 problems with my 2005 Vue.

I do not wish to respond here to a subject unrelated to the thread. You may feel free to send me a P/M, or start a new thread in the "Off Topic" sub-forum where it would be a more appropriate place...

Re: New owner of a 2002 LW300

That's a good thing. Diving into repairs on the L81 V6 requires one to have a sharp mind and good hands. IMHO, working on that engine is not for the faint of heart.

If you'd like to see some...

Re: I have 2 problems with my 2005 Vue.

In addition to answering the questions above, have you checked the fuses? Was wiring unknowingly disconnected? If your blower motor is working, are other switches on the HVAC control head functioning...

Re: hello from colorado

Well, one could do that, but I believe it's being dishonest with the Forum so I don't think a Traverse should be listed in your profile as an Outlook. Instead, consider placing that information in...

Re: hello from colorado

Welcome to SaturnFans, lanxer57!

The two vehicles are largely the same as relates to things under the hood and in the chassis. They share the same engine and transmission along with many...

Re: the old rear spring struts trick in an L 100 revisited

For the sake of accuracy, I wanted to point out that the information regarding coil spring P/Ns in post #5 is correct for 2003 L-Series sedans (regardless of engine size). And FWIW, the rear coil...

Ah, fdryer, what a fine idea. The logic seems quite reasonable and the effort to attempt it is minimal. I like it! Thank you, my friend!!

Darn...we're near the same coast, but I'm too far away. Otherwise, I would definitely be interested.

Re: High engine fan speed in cold weather...a brief story...

I can't say with certainty, but I wouldn't expect that it does. It's an Innova 3030f, not a very high end reader at all although I do like it.

I'll be on the look out for an adjustment of the...

Re: 2003 Ion Windshield Wiper assembly cant dance

Are you referring to a "wiper linkage," GM p/n 15274496? The fact that the part in the box was a Bosch product shouldn't be surprising. These were originally from the OPEL/VAUXHALL European division...

Re: High engine fan speed in cold weather...a brief story...

Hmm...what would be the equivalent of a "stepper motor" from the Chevy Pick up to something on an L-Series car with a 2.2L ECOTEC engine? Would it be the IAC valve? The only other major influencing...

Re: High engine fan speed in cold weather...a brief story...

A few days ago those classic symptoms reappeared - high engine idle and high fan speeds - and it was, as you might expect, annoying. :( FWIW, I'm going to replace the donor FCM currently on the car...

Judging from a comparison of case component parts for your year model with the auto climate control and others with manual climate control it appears that the cases are identical.
The concern might...

Re: Coolant leak at trans line bung on radiator, loose line nut. Fixable or new radia

Yes, the correct number for Spectra Premium is 2607. However, be careful with this as they may have consolidated the application to cover both the 2.2L, 4 cyl. engine and the 3.0L V6. If at all...

Re: 2003 L200 Engine Oil Change

One other thing to consider is that most shops will now follow factory specs. for tightening even oil drain plugs - and with our L-Series, the oil filter cap. My 2000 Saturn FSM rates both at 18 ft....

Re: Unmangling speaker wiring on 2000 LS1

Yes, you can remove the wiring harness from an L-Series door and swap it into another. It's possible, however, that if the harness comes from the front doors of a car that has the advanced sound...

Re: 2001 Saturn L300 - v6 3.0 Liter - DNJ Engine Overhaul Kit - Anyone?

There appears to be a sizable amount of caked-on oil on the switch (if I'm viewing the photo accurately). 02 LW300 is correct - oil pressure switches are indeed known sources for oil leaks on almost...
