i agree with gearguy. that's really the only problems we've seen out of the honda powertrain is torque converters. i think i've replaced 3 in the past two weeks.

forrest, if it looks like it's from a junkyard it probably is. if you have a manual, there is no tcm. if the ecm is saying it can't communicate with the tcm, then yes, the wrong ecm is installed. an...

the tsb number is 08-06-04-036. the new calibrations are for 2008 vue fwd w/2.4 engine and 4t45e trans.
new calibrations adress concerns of:
poor performance at high ambient temp.

don't you hate that. they give us marks for 6 years, and you get used to having them, then, they take them away. i've done about 6 now without the marks, and am getting used to it, but why do that?
