Re: New rims on my Vue XR AWD

Those look great on your XR. I was actually looking at the same ones in black for my XE but went with a 5 spoke design instead.

Re: My best fuel economy so far

Around here in southern Ontario, Canada, most stations have 10% ethanol in 87 octanes, 5% in 89 octanes and no ethanol in 91 or higher octanes, but of course we here in the Great White North pay a...

Re: New wheels are on...

I know you don't have to replace the sensors when you get new tires, but I got new tires and wheels, and I didn't want to pull my winter tires off my OEM alloys to take off the sensors there...

I...

Re: New wheels are on...

Hey thanks Chilipepper, didn't realize that was something I could do myself. You just saved me $45 CDN plus taxes.

On a side note, if anyone needs sensors other than OEM, I got my wheels and...

Re: New wheels are on...

I purchased new sensors for the wheels. Only thing left to do is goto a GM dealership to activate them. Thanks for the comments everyone.

Hein, start your own thread or even email them. This is a thread for 08 owners, and since we have no options right now, we appreciate any interest companies can give us. IMO, if they made springs for...

Re: Free Lowering Springs

Hi there,

Not sure where you're located but I am in Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada and probably not near you. If you are willing to meet at a mutual location I am sure we could work something out.

Re: New VUE Gauges

I've had Alex from blackcatcustom.com make gauges for my previous ride, a 98 Chevy Truck. He's a great guy. The gauges turned out awesome. He can do custom colors, custom illumination, logos, etc.

Re: VUE Hybrid Rims - Where to find?

I just realized, the 08 or 09 Equinox also came with those rims as an option, so you may want to try looking for those as well. Maybe switch out the center caps for Saturn ones...

Re: Foglight Question

Yeah thanks for the help, I guess that would be the solution if I wanted to spend dealership prices for OEM stuff, but I don't.

Re: GM Hopes to Retain Saturn Customers, but 69% of SaturnFans.com Members Surveyed S

GM did what they needed to do? If GM did that, they wouldn't have been the source of Saturn's demise from the get-go by starving them of money for R&D, using them as the pilot project for several...

Re: GM Hopes to Retain Saturn Customers, but 69% of SaturnFans.com Members Surveyed S

GM makes me laugh. You know, my entire family was GM loyal and we bought nothing but GM. In fact, I ignored all the bad rap that everyone around me (like friends) were saying about GM, and tried to...

Foglight Question

Hi there, anyone know the actual size of the foglight openings on our vues?

I want to fit some aftermarket ones in there, but I don't know what size to get, and I keep forgetting to measure.

What kind of wheels are they? Possibly xr or redline wheels?

I have an xe with the stock 16s on them and wouldn't mind some xr wheels instead.

Re: Leggat Saturn (Burlington) also to remain open

This is great news. I bought my ION from Leggat Saturn, and though I did not buy my Vue from them, I can vouch that they are a great dealership. I suspect once Dec 31st comes around, they will...

Re: Saturn-Penske Deal Exites Employees

Penske shouldn't have ceased operations in Canada, since Canadians are more receptive to fuel economy and smaller cars in general. I hope he doesn't shoot for chevy/toyota type of sales when he takes...

Re: 2008 Vue Door Handle Recall

Kae is right, the Chrome package was the upgrade over the painted handles. I have an 08 Vue XE and the body-colored handles were standard on the 08's, but not the 09's.

In terms of the safety...

Re: 2008 Vue Door Handle Recall

If the chrome handles piss you off that much, have the dealership send them out to get paint-matched to your car before replacing your existing handles with them.

Not choosing to get the recall...

Re: Is this Saturns Next Small Car?

Looks really nice, too bad we won't see this car in Canada, that's even if Penske brings it to North America at all.

If he does bring it stateside, I'd like to see the car with a slight redesign...

Small cars are a bigger hit in Canada than in the states. Canadians are more accepting of better premium small cars and are willing to pay the price for them, whereas Americans...
