I have a check engine code on my 07 Sky Redline..... U2142.... lost communications with Chassis Control....

Anyone know what the fix is for this ??

On a brighter note, my local U-pull-it will sell the complete sunroof ( minus glass ) for $65..... ( $29 for the glass )

Has anyone removed their Ion headliner...

I have a 2000 SL1 5 speed with 125K on it..... The SL1's idle has been high in the past year or so..... ( sometimes it's ok......other times it's up around 1800 rpms at idle.....)

I think I will have to get a new TPS sensor.....( I doubt it's the IAC because I just changed it and cleaned the throttle body )

If the TPS doesn't help, then I think I'll replace the intake...

update : I took some carb cleaner and sprayed it on all the vacuum hoses and intake manifold gasket area.....no change in high idle rpms.....

I took the throttle body off again and cleaned it...

I had the same problem...... I removed the glass and metal bracket and gasket from the car....( just a few screws )..... The metal gasket is bonded to the glass and with rust loses its seal.....

Recently the SL1 idle has been racing up to 4,000 rpms and generating a P0507 code......

I changed the blower fan motor, switch, and resistor under the dash. All the fuses are good...

You have a plugged catalytic converter........It's caused by weak ignition coils making your engine run too rich and plugs up your cat.

My guess is that if your anti theft system is working ok now, you won't have to mess with it all... the cylinder is just a mechanical part and you don't have to remove any wires or electrical parts...

Use regular aluminum colored paint if you want to get close to the original finish of hubcaps..... If you use chrome it will be too bright, and gray is too dark....

I don't doubt it...... I just know that for my 95' SC2 it would only take one specific serial/part numbered cruise switch when there are other "identical looking" switches out of other year/model...

I went through 4 different " identical looking switches " on my 95 SC2 and the only one that worked according to my Saturn dealer was the 95 SC2 switch... ( and they were right with my car )........
