I personally love the V-6 L Series Saturns. I have 3 of them.
They are fun to drive, very responsive and pretty quick.
The V-6 is somewhat hard to work on.
After you get yours running correctly...

2003 LW300 Liftgate questions

Unfortunately my 2003 LW300 got rear ended recently.
Fortunately no one was injured.
However a replacement liftgate is required to make the repairs.These are not very plentiful it would seem....

Bolts are bolts. Determine strength, length , diameter, thread. Should be able to easily find a replacement. Its not that hard.

Is the pump wiring connected ?
Check for voltage at the pump.
If you have 12V at the pump, then its likely a failed pump.

To my knowledge no one in North America makes a loaded rear strut.
Some have said you may be able to but them from the UK, as the Vactra is their version of the L-Series and was more popular....

I believe it is part of the crankcase ventilation system. You should be able to replace with a generic piece of hose from NAPA

The main reason to opt for the nickel-cooper line is how much easier
it is to work with. Much easier to manipulate by hand to get a decent fit.

2.4 timing chain replacement

A friend has asked me to help him change the timing chain on his 2008 Aura 2.4. It has 150K on it. Some noise in the chain area, also some metal flakes on the VVT solenoids.
Is there sufficient room...

#3 is the power steering pulley
#5 is the crankshaft pulley
#6 is the water pump pulley

I just dealt with this issue on one of my L series front brakes. I posted a few photos in the L series forum. After dissecting the faulty hose i discovered that the hose had not actually collapsed...
