Re: Interior leak

Re: HID option

I'm not sure if the HID lights were affected but I would start with a call to the dealer to see if the headlight recall was completed. Also, I think there is a website you can check by VIN to see if...

Re: cruise control not working

There must be an issue with the stabilizer trak control system that is malfunctioning keeping the cruise control from working.

My 08' had the master cylinder replaced. I received a recall/bulletin for it. You may want to check with your dealer on that.

Re: My P0017 experience...

Yes, it is nice to hear of a positive experience with a shop these days. It doesn't happen as often as it should. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Where can I find wiper blades

I purchased mine from http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/
They are a GM dealer in NC. I am happy with the GM blades so I replaced them with the GM blades.

Re: Cabin Air Filter Install ???

I installed it in my 08' which would be the same as your 07'.
It was relatively easy and it cost me only $65 for the cover and the filter. See this link below for the details.

The 60A fuse is in the fuse box under the hood. I believe it's listed on the label that's under the lid of the fuse box.
The inline fuse that was added in the first recall will not be needed. The...

Mieds,
The bars fit great and yes, they are GM original parts. In the package is the complete kit with all the hardware needed and instructions.

I average between 16-17 with mostly around town driving. Highway driving usually brings me 20-21.

Re: Anybody miss the Heated Washer Fluid Option?

I believe the GM dealer would be required to perform the recall if the vehicle was ever brought in to the dealer. They will not reimburse you for the replacement unit because it is not a GM approved...

Re: Anybody miss the Heated Washer Fluid Option?

The dealer should have cut the wires on the fluid heater side of the plugs leaving the vehicle harness intact. They should have also removed the 60amp fuse for the unit. Follow the directions that...

Re: Just got a used 2008 XR with FWD....sounds like a "jet" powering down

Could be the cooling fan. It runs anytime the A/C compressor is on. It could be on if you have the climate control set on "Auto"

Re: Saturn Outlooks Recalled Due to Faulty Heated Windshield Washer Fluid System, GM

Makes me worried too!
I park my Outlook in the garage every night. Don't need a fire that could burn up the Outlook AND my house. :(
