Re: Got an Opel Vectra brochure in the mail..

Re: So Long, Aura... Hello Astra

Yeah, I thought about doing the same thing and people thought I was nuts. Then, when I had to drop off the Aura for work, I was valeted in an Astra and that cinched it, I'm keeping the Aura.

The manager said that the rust is actually on a metal...

Re: My XR has a severe rusting problem

I had a service call for that about a year ago on that. I thought for sure I was getting wet during a rain storm and thought I spotted some water pooled by the mirror control. Took it to the dealer,...

Re: Ok heres the deal.

Find a 95 SL1, 1g body, MPI 100 HP SOHC

Sorry, it is sooooo much work because the fuel pressure for the 91-94 SOHC is so much lower, you might have to change the fuel pump and lines as well.

Re: How do you reach the oil filter?

Man, I make it too complicated. I jack up the driver side first to drain the oil. When it is done, I lower the car, move the jack to the passenger side, and raise it up to remove the filter. I use a...

Re: Poll: who drives their S-Series to the laundromat?

Been doing my own laundry since I was taught at 11. I've been going to the laundromats since my college days (ah, that was the best, Suds & Duds, they had a snack bar that served beer and a pool...

Re: Anyone looking for a used Aura?

Well, the financing was straightened out, after almost 4 months of double payments to keep our credit intact. Would you pay over $1000.00 a month for a Saturn? ANY SATURN?

Turned out the power window motor was not bolted/riveted...
