Re: Saturn/Penske deal a farce from the start....Penske had no real plans to buy Satu

Couldn't have put it better! Now that Saturn is gone, does GM have anything the least bit appealing left anymore?

Thought, I'd never say this, but I'm starting to become a Ford fan. At least...

Re: Flashback Friday: Saturn Introduces the SW Wagon

Loved both of the ones I had. Had Saturn ever brought out a proper replacement, (preferably with AWD), they'd still have a customer.

Re: Saturn die-cast

Thats an Opel Speedster, which was a Europe-only car built off the Lotus Elise. Mine's an Opel GT, which is the same thing as a Sky, just different logo. Nice model, though.

Re: Saturn die-cast

Technically, this an Opel GT model, but you can find this Sky diecast model in many better hobby shops:

Re: Got Advice for Roger Penske?

Exactly! None of these rebadged Korean Nissans! And make a small wagon or crossover with AWD!

Re: Breaking News: Penske-Saturn Deal Could be Announced Within 24 Hours

I don't know how Renault's quality is nowadays, but honestly their lineup looks a lot better than Samsung's, which are nothing but rebadged Nissans:

Re: My new Sky (sort of)

I've got a Jeep that I'm still paying on and I can't even think of affording a Sky, no problem there!

Re: My new Sky (sort of)

Maisto die-cast 1:24 Scale. Its actually badged as an Opel GT. It was really easy to put together, no glue needed.

Re: Hello from Blighty!

We don't get the Insignia here yet and if we do it might come over as a Buick.

Re: Chapel Hill Retailer Expects to Last for Years

I used to get my old SW2 serviced at their sister store Saturn of Belden Village and always got great service. Good to see they're sticking with it.

Re: February 17th Preview? Lutz Tells Automotive News that Despite Good Cars, Saturn

First off, I'm no koolaid drinker, and I know the Saturn of old is long gone. But, all I can say is, Saturn no longer made a car for me. Plain and simple. I'm not one of these idiots who think...

I couldn't agree more! What is business administration when you think about? Its a bunch of hogwash, thats what it is. This country is run by a bunch of people who know to manage and delegate...

I bought my first SW2 from Clarence, great dealer. It'd be a shame to see them go.

Re: Saturn needs a true sub-compact if it wants to survive

Problem is, the Astra needed the options it has in Europe over here. It also needed marketing. I don't think I've seen any TV or print ads actually marketing the thing. It'd also be nice if it...

Re: Not Dead Yet!?

I do dig its positiveness, as really I want to see Saturn make it, but in some respects, it does seem like a bit of a "last ditch effort". So, I really don't have a strong opinion one way or the...

Re: GM Throws Lifeline to Flailing Saturn Brand, Admits It Didn't Spend Enough On Mar

Knowing our luck, it probably will be cheap Chinese crap! On the other hand, it'd be awesome to see Citroen in this country again.
