BCM Failure? Dash Lights Going Out

From reading posts to this forum it appears that the problem of the Dash Lights going out briefly and then turning back on indicates a BCM (computer) failure. Has anyone with this problem resolved...

I am having a similar issue with dash lights and radio going turning off for an instant and then turning back on. I've read posts here that identify that as a problem with the BCM computer.

Yep - 2008XR - it closed but only if I held it in place for a good ten seconds after I closed it. Replaced it under warranty. The process that has been described here sounds good. Best of luck.

I have the same question for my 2008. Today in Atlanta it was a challenge to drive without fog lights. Odd that there are (apparently) places to add these lights but Saturn offers no after-build...

This may be a case of seeing the glass as half full or with a hole in it and headed for empty. With the launch of a very cool 2 mode GL just ahead I believe that this line of cars is too important...
